RJ Rockers Son of a Peach

RJ Rockers Son of a Peach

I almost didn't buy this. I had it picked out and then decided not to buy it. Then I picked some other stuff out and after talking with a friend about how bad the brewery's name was, I decided to give it a shot. I think it has something to do with me liking to root for the underdog. My initial thought was that the label looked a lot like something AB InBev would put out claiming it was craft beer. I was relieved to hear that it was some small brewery that puts out under something under 10k barrels a year.

Adding cherry puree

Yesterday I racked the sour cherry fermented with wheat yeast over a full 49oz. can of Vintner's Cherry Puree. I imagine this could increase the alcohol somewhat significantly, since a full can is somewhere between a gravity of 1.090 and 1.100 for 1 gallon. With the puree added, I ended up with, I think, around 3 gallons, so maybe I had a little more beer than I thought. I'm thinking about sticking something down in the carboy to stir it a little bit.
